Reporting to the SQA Manager, theSQA Engineer I will grasp complete knowledge of the product, create and executetest cases, properly document and report issues and work closely withdevelopers to assist resolving these issues.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:

The duties of this role include butare not limited to the following:

•         Developknowledge in certain product domains to ensure effective and through testcoverage.

•         Implement andadvocate best SQA standards to ensure release of consistent quality product.

•         Maintainstrong professional relationships with other departments and customers.

•         Design andimplement test suites and complex test scenarios which exercise and validatethe product functionality and optimum application performance in the mostefficient and sophisticated way.

SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS:

•         Abilityto leverage experience to deliver reliable and repeatable tests

•         Broadunderstanding of quality engineering principles and test methodologies

•         Abilityto contribute to a vision of future state of testing

•         Abilityto troubleshoot hardware and software issues

•         BasicSQL skills

•         BasicUnix/Linux skills

•         Experiencein manual testing

•         Experiencewith Load/Performance testing concepts

•         Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills

•         2to 4 years of experience in software development

•         Bachelor’sDegree in Computer Science or related field
