Senior Software Engineers within the Platform teamare responsible for platform development. The developers participate in allaspects of platform development, including: gathering requirements, design,development, documentation, deployment and maintenance. They are essential forrolling out new technologies used in the latest games. The engineer’s mainresponsibility will be to develop code to support games, hardware, peripherals,and communication with back-end systems. This position requires a strong workethic and the ability to self-start, self-regulate workloads, and work well ina group dynamic or independently.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree inComputer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years relevantdevelopment experience in the gaming or lottery industry.
  • Knowledgeablein Class II and Class III gaming regulations (preferably in multiplejurisdictions).
  • Excellentknowledge of C/C++
  • Extensiveknowledge and experience in implementing and troubleshooting game accountingprotocols including SAS and G2S.
  • Experiencein implementation of various hardware protocols (printer, bill validator,etc.).
  • Advancedobject oriented design knowledge and familiarity with common patterns.
  • Requiresexcellent organizational skills, good oral and written communication skills,and a high level of interpersonal skills.
  • Must bea self-motivated team player able to work in a customer-oriented, fast-paced,and demanding environment with minimal supervision.

 Preferred Skills:

  • Experiencewith Linux development.
  • Experiencewith Unity3D or other gaming engine.
  • Experiencewith Agile project management (SCRUM).
  • Familiaritywith C#/.NET
