The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for a variety of material functions including the accurate stocking, counting, moving and issuing of parts and supplies to production and service departments.  The candidate must be self-motivated, a strong team player, and enjoy working in a fun fast paced growth environment.

Essential Functions:

• Picks and issues parts for production and sales orders
• Fills production Kanban bins and carts according to designated schedule
• Stocks parts received from suppliers or internal repair department
• Moves inventory within warehouse locations
• Processes transactions in inventory system and maintains related paperwork
• Processes material returns (RMAs) and ensures parts are routed to internal repair department or staged for return to suppliers
• Performs inventory counts as required, reports inventory discrepancies to supervisor
• Operates material handling equipment and company vehicles as required
• Cleans and maintains supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Performs other duties as required.


• High School or GED required
• Minimum 1 year related work experience
• Experience working in a warehouse, distribution center or manufacturing facility preferred
• Experience counting, receiving, stocking and shipping parts and supplies
• Experience processing inventory related transactions and paperwork
• Ability to operate material handling equipment and company vehicles as required
• Ability to read, comprehend and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, process maps, and procedure manuals

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with an inventory, warehouse or manufacturing system such as Oracle, SAP or MS Dynamics
• Experience using hand held computer/scanners in a warehouse environment
• Experience using Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word and Excel
• Experience using general office equipment including personal computer, printer and copy machine
• Basic math skills
