The Field Service Technician is responsible for the service, installation, conversion, upgrade and preventive maintenance of all AGS gaming equipment.  This position does not work standard set hours as work activities may occur throughout a 24-hour day, 7 days a week, including holidays.  This position reports to the Regional Field Service Manager.

Essential Functions:

• Performs preventive and general maintenance on all AGS slot machines and table games
• Completes all reports and paperwork in a timely manner
• Represents AGS with our customers in the field and provides excellent service with a great attitude
• Completes technical procedures, such as all Work Orders, on both slots and table games
• Troubleshoots and repairs service incidents in a timely manner and escalates as necessary
• Keeps parts inventory current


• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Entry level, gaming experience is not necessary, but is a plus
• Must have 2 years’ experience in electronics and/or computer networking
• Required/Able to obtain licensing approval by tribal and/or state gaming regulators
•      Self-motivated team player able to work in a customer-oriented, fast-paced, and demanding environment with minimal supervision
• Mechanically inclined; able to use hand tools
• Must be able to move 75 lbs. with assistance
• Basic computer skills required; May need to use all tools from Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Will need to complete mandatory electronics course as provided by the Company.
• Will need to understand basic AC/DC electronics
• Needs basic understanding of computer networking
