We developcontent and technologies specific to the needs of each of the markets that weserve, including Native American and commercial gaming markets in the US, the growingMexican gaming market, and select international jurisdictions.


TheElectrical Engineer will be responsible for working within detailed-design andsustaining areas of product development and working within a nimble,roadmap-driven, and concurrent development environment.

Responsibilities

The duties of this role include but arenot limited to the following:

  • Workclosely with Sr. Electrical Engineer with checking designs for requirements conformanceand design-for-manufacturing
  • Designschematic and layout for EGM printed circuit assemblies and wiring harnesses
  • Interpretand support existing and legacy AGS product designs
  • Createmanufacturing release documents of predesigned/modeled electronic boards andharnesses
  • Workclosely with Software, Firmware, System Engineers, and Game Designers fordevelopment of programming and control functions of electronics system elements
  • Workclosely with Operations engineers for release of product definition documentsfor manufacturing
  • Workclosely with Supply Chain for coordinating prototype orders and first-productionorders of new products
  • Workclosely with manufacturing teams for recommending manufacturing procedures andprocesses
  • Respondto field issues by determining root cause and implementing corrective actions
  • Trackcomponent manufacturing roadmaps and coordinate product changes in response toend-of-life notices
  • Recordand manage product issue lists, problem reports, and other lifecycle databasesand coordinate design changes as necessary

Skills/Requirements

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a sense of urgency
  • BS Electrical Engineering degree with 0 to 5 years electricalengineering experience
  • Experience with Orcad ECAD development and simulation boarddesign software
  • Familiar with MS SharePoint a plus
  • Experience with communication and feedback protocols (USB andserial) among and within system components
  • Experience with firmware programmable devices
  • Familiar with release process of product data tomanufacturing
  • Familiar with authoring electronics specifications,manufacturing, assembly, and use documentation
  • Familiar with interpreting OEM electronics specification andapplication data
  • Experience with prototype manufacturing, assembly and testing
  • Familiar with first-article inspection of manufactured electronicassemblies
  • Experience or familiar with OEM components such as computermotherboards, controllers, bill acceptors, thermal ticket printers, lighting,buttons, fans, sensors, audio devices, switches, and wiring
