The CPQ Application Administrator works closely with the user community to configure, manage and customize Experlogix, the organization’s Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) business system.  This role will require working with product managers to capture the configuration rules associated with different products and services, with sales admins and operations coordinators to better understand their needs, and with Engineering/Operations to design and test integration of sales tools with other systems, all to implement a best-in-class CPQ system.  The individual is responsible for ensuring the system is correctly configured to support specified business rules and workflows. The CPQ Application Administrator will work collaboratively with peers from other application and technology domains on cross functional activities, in the definition and maintenance of application road maps, as well as process improvement initiatives tied to the Enterprise Applications. 


Essential Functions:

• Convert well-defined business rules into logic which will then be coded into the CPQ tool (Experlogix).
• Work with third parties or AGS team members to complete ongoing maintenance, enhancements, upgrades, end user access, and configurations in CPQ system
• Create user stories, process workflows and data models to support configuration development
• Prepare data migration plans from external systems
• Ensure ongoing operation quality for the CPQ application through initial release and subsequent software updates 
• Interface with 3rd party software providers and consultants to develop solutions that may require customization or significant coding support
• Facilitate user acceptance testing 
• Ensure work is completed to meet schedules and deadlines for implementation and upgrade projects. Ensures agreed upon service level agreements are met.
• Create training plans and documentation as it applies to the CPQ system
• Work closely with Mfg Engineering to develop configurations for new products and features as part of the product release process. 
• Identify and assist business partners in determining areas of improvement and automation opportunities to reduce business costs and increase business consistency and reliability. Identifies options and recommends best business practices as they apply to system automation.
• Provide technical support to utilize existing systems to support a paperless factory
• Work closely with Operations to provide system generated, real-time KPI’s visually displayed on the shop floor
• Ensure systems and processes function according to AGS Compliance requirements


Requirements:

• Minimum 1-year, hands-on configuration experience through the use or implementation of CPQ
• Understand basic concepts of discrete manufacturing and sales, including Bill of Materials
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent analytical ability to quickly gather facts, perform root cause analysis and develop solutions in collaboration with other team members
• Experience with continuous improvement and lean best practices a plus
• Experience in the gaming industry also a plus


Skills:

• Hands-on experience with one or more CPQ tools such as Experlogix, Apttus, Salesforce CPQ, CloudSense, Oracle CPQ, QuoteWerks, etc.
• Experience modeling business processes in a tool such as Visio, Draw.io, yEd, or other modeling tools
• Proficiency with web technologies and languages such as IIS, CSS, and XML is a plus.
• Experience integrating Experlogix (or other CPQ systems) with Enterprise CRM/ERP systems (i.e. Dynamics, NetSuite, Salesforce) is highly preferred.
